TRANSFORMATION

Barcelona (Spain), 2025

The support among women has been a fundamental driving force for our transformation and growth, and with this perspective, the artistic project created by Alejandra Glez., María de la Rica, and Lucía Lamata emerges as a powerful tool of resilience. This gathering of women, rooted in sharing and mutual support, creates an invisible network that allows them to overcome adversity, heal wounds, and, above all, grow. This work is also a process of mutual support and a collective experience of empowerment, where the artistic act serves as a means of self-affirmation and transformation.

The sea, in its vastness and flow, becomes a symbol of this transformative process, a space where the personal merges with the collective, where the waves represent both the challenges and the possibilities for all. In this ocean of emotions, each woman is an island, yet also part of an archipelago that, by connecting, grows stronger and redefines itself. This work extends this metaphor, this transformative movement. In this project, the result is not as important as everything that has led to it—the process itself, intimate and yet collective, seeking healing. This “Transformation” is not only an act of resistance but also a way to make visible and celebrate what the support among women can provoke.

This “Transformation” in three voices, choral in nature, is the testimony of shared effort among women, of the creation of a safe space for them to express and to simply be. It is in this intersection of the sea, art, and community where resilience is anchored—not only as an individual force, but as a collective power capable of changing the world.
